Born and raised in Kyrgyzstan, I am of Turkic origin with a dash of Gengizhan contribution somewhere along my history. Ever since I remember I wanted to travel. So once I got my BA (Hons) in English Language and Literature I joined an international trading company (ferrous metals export) as a translator. Since then I’ve visited a range of countries – from The United States, to the Middle East. When I found myself in the UK I couldn’t resist taking a few courses and studied Property Valuation and Law (MA, LCUBS), Accounting and Applied Business Law (APU), Summer School on Banking and Finance (Guildhall University)… then my swot bug seemed to have been cured. Moving to North Cyprus was a significant change from my initial career plans, but I fell in love with this beautiful island that I’d heard so much about and now can’t think of going back to UK or anywhere else... (I mean how many places in the world can offer you a dip in the glistening Mediterranean 10 minutes after you walk out of the office!)

I’m in my 6th year at Unwin Estate Agent's, I still find my job motivating yet allowing a laid-back lifestyle that Cyprus offers. As the property market expands and diversifies, so do the company services and my responsibilities within our offices, so I always look forward to new challenges.

My role focuses on managing our extensive property portfolio (mostly residential and some commercial - both offering excellent investment opportunities), preparing new projects for marketing, which involves liaising with architects and negotiating deals with developers; making every effort to ensure the information offered to clients is detailed, accurate and presentable… amongst other things.

The company has recently decided to expand towards the Eastern European market, which I think is a brilliant opportunity and I look forward to this new undertaking. 
North Cyprus is increasingly becoming one of the world's desirable holiday destinations, while property market is young but very dynamic, offering endless opportunities. I guess this is when you can say – right time, right place! And we invite you to join us to experience the delights of this beautiful place!
