Hi, my name is Jodie, I am 29 years old, and lived in Billericay Essex for about 24 years. We had a family business which my parents ran for 28 years, it was very well known in the area as one of the best florists around.

I have been married for nearly 5 years now to my husband Jon, our son Jake is almost 4, and he is in full time education at Sunny Lane School. His Turkish is coming along very well, and I can speak very highly of the school that Jake goes to.  His teachers are brilliant and my son is very happy there.

Jake and I moved to North Cyprus in July 2007 and my husband moved here in November 2007. We are both in full time employment and we enjoy our jobs very much.  Neither one of us wake up in the morning and think ‘oh no got to go to work today’. Why would we say that when we wake up to sun shine and the stunning views of the Island?

I have worked for Unwin Estate Agents since September 2007, and I have enjoyed every minute of it. Its nice to have a job where something different happens every day, and my colleagues are here to help, support and work as a team.

We moved here for a better quality of life, to spend quality time with Jake, and enjoy a good social life, and I am able to do all of this.  The summer is coming and the evenings are getting longer, we can sit on our terrace  and enjoy a nice glass of wine and play with our son. The bonus for me is that I have met a lovely group of people in work and also on a personal level.

For me now I have it all, I live in a lovely country, my son goes to an excellent school and now I work for the best and most established Estate Agent on the Island.
