I would just to like to comment on the professionalism of Jodi, your rental property advisor. My partner and myself were today shown around a property in Lapta, Jodi accompanied us. She was knowledgeable of the area and the facilities available; she was courteous and polite throughout, with a friendly demeanour.

I particularly appreciated her common sense when her telephone rang in the car, that she, not like a many others, did not answer whilst driving. At one point it rang again, and I believe it was her superior, which before answering, she asked if I was ok for her to do so, again something which both myself and partner appreciated, we said we did not mind and she did not take long to tell him that she was driving and on her way back, thus not unduly distracted from her driving.

She left us with the knowledge that she would get back to us with answers to some questions we had asked her to ask of the owner and also another appointment for my daughter to view the property.

It was a pleasure to do business with her.

We had been looking at property on mainland Turkey for years but felt it was'nt quite what we were looking for. We had a holiday in TRNC in 2004 and felt that it was like being at home. We then went on to have a holiday in the southern side of Cyprus in March 2005 did not enjoy it at all, so built up and commercial. We took a coach tour over the border to TRNC and again it felt like coming home. We looked on the internet at Unwins site having spent some time with Peter Harrell previously in September 2004 we thought how professional the company were , and so in 2006 we arranged  to view properties with Unwins. In early March 2006 Unwin Estates assisted us with a 3 day viewing trip to select a villa in Northern Cyprus. The sales team was extremely accommodating, showing us around 10 properties that we had pre-selected from their Internet site. It rapidly became apparent that there was a no hard sell policy in place which was a refreshing change from our dealings with other estate agents previously. Their aim was to provide complete assistance to us in finding our dream home in the sun.

By April 2006 we had made our choice of a 3 bedroom villa having been shown the actual plot and examples of completed properties on the same build, all finished to an extremely high standard. The actual purchase process was then explained with contracts, payment profiles and timescales agreed over the coming weeks..

The build commenced in June 2006 and the after sales team provided an excellent service with regular email updates and build progress photographs.

In September 2006 we again visited Northern Cyprus to make our final selection of fittings and fixtures and by the end of October 2006 the build was completed 8 weeks ahead of schedule. A final “snagging” took place in December 2006 with only minor snags raised, all of which were completed by New Year 2007.

Unwin Estates provided excellent customer care both pre and post sale and due to their professionalism and attention to customer focus the whole process has been a pleasurable one.

We bought our first holiday home through Unwins, off plan in 1999, and was guided through the whole procedure calmly and professionally, receiving regular updates, by a friendly efficient staff. We decided to retire to the Island, therefore in 2003 in preparation for our retirement in 2005 we again approached Unwins to help with our dream. We again purchased our home, off plan, from the same builder but this time personalising to our requirements.
